Thunder Bay’s Hospital is taking action against an over run population of Canadian geese.
10 coyote decoys have been placed at all of the ponds located on the Health Science Centre’s grounds.
Hospital Spokesperson Omendra Adhikary says too many geese around the hospital pose a real health risk.
They were concerned goose droppings would hitch hike on people’s shoes and into the hospital.
Adhikary adds they’ve also brought in professional dog walkers which also deters geese from gathering near the hospital. (Photo supplied)
