Nine New COVID-19 Cases

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is reporting nine new cases of COVID-19.

Seven of the individuals caught the virus through close contact, one was obtained through travel while it’s not yet known how the other case was obtained.

All of those infected are self-isolating.

The district health unit is now dealing with 119 active cases, two of which are in the hospital and one in intensive care.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
