The city is starting the process of creating a strategic plan for the next three years.
Councillors will sit down tonight at City Hall to get things underway. Mayor Keith Hobbs says each councillor is expected to make suggestions…for him, it’s streamlining the budget process to avoid making important decisions at the last minute.
Hobbs points to Monday night’s meeting where councillors were asked to make big decisions, like the closure of a golf course, without any studies taking place.
