The provincial government is putting 3-million dollars into promoting post-secondary institutions in northern Ontario.
Confederation College, along with five other northern colleges, will receive the money for the three year marketing initiative, and are trying to attract students from southern Ontario to study in our region.
MPP Michael Gravelle made the announcement on Friday, and says the Liberals want to invest in the north.
The money will come from the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund.
