A Thunder Bay company is paying up after pleading guilty to landscaping Crown land without a permit.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry says Hockenhull Land and Cattle Co. removed soil from a strip of land and then put down gravel as part of landscaping for a tourist facility on Kashabowie Lake.
It’s been fined a total of $15,000 for that unauthorized work.
The work happened between October 2017 and November 2018.
