It’s another step forward for the indoor turf facility project.
Monday night’s meeting saw councillors quickly approve the decision to set up a committee looking at funding and other aspects of the $30-million project.
It’ll be made up of the mayor, along with councillors Andrew Foulds, Kristen Oliver, Mark Bentz and Albert Aiello.
Bill Mauro indicated he expects the group to take about 3 months to hammer out some of the details of how the project can proceed.
The city already approved $4-million worth of engineering work that has to be done before construction can start.
