The city wants to help with the financial effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thunder Bay City Council is asking their staff to give them options to help residents and businesses who are struggling financially.
It could include delaying the property tax due date, funding for organizations, and delaying payments and penalties.
City officials say it will include options for relief for city-owned rental properties.
A report is due back next Monday.
The city also formed an Emergency Response Team which will give input on addressing residents’ financial concerns.
