City police launching new online reporting service

Thunder Bay’s police have a new online reporting service.

The new system allows residents to report more non-emergency incidents online making it easier to upload evidence.

Eligible report types include theft, vandalism, fraud, traffic violations, and missing identification.

Incidents must have occurred within city police’s jurisdiction.

The platform also allows people to have links to specific report types sent directly to them by text message.

Users will receive a confirmation message once the report has been submitted and you can choose to receive updates on the status of your report.

Rubicon has been selected as the new service provider.
