A witness at a city inquest is expressing her concerns over how authorities treated the first days of the disappearance of 15 year old Jethro Anderson. Anderson went missing on October 28th, 2000.
His boarding parent at the time, Dora Morris, testified police didn’t provide her with much information about the search and she wasn’t satisfied with some of the answers she claims she got back, suggesting he was out there partying like “any other Native kid.” Morris says it’s always been her belief Jethro didn’t die from drowning as officials have told her.
Also on the stand Wednesday, was Roberta Skunk. She was one of the last people to see 15 year old Jethro Anderson alive in the fall of 2000. She says they went drinking that Saturday night and ended up at the Kam River Waterfront. She says they scattered after police arrived.
