Charges Laid After Illegal Cigarette Bust

A large quantity of illegal tobacco has been seized by OPP in Vermilion Bay.

They say it happened after a traffic stop last Sunday on Highway 17.

OPP note 111 cases of cigarettes with a total estimated value of $444,000 were found.

Two 41-year men, one from London, the other from the Toronto area, have been charged and will appear in court near the end of January.
