Chamber Reaches Out To Business Owners

Thunder Bay’s Chamber of Commerce has started an on-line survey asking businesses how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting them.

The 5-minute survey, started Monday, will take the information gathered, and give it to various government agencies to help them determine how the needs of local businesses can be met over the next six months.

The chamber says the survey will be repeated each month through September, and strongly encourages business owners to take part.

Thunder Bay’s Chamber of Commerce is working with the North Superior Workforce Planning Board, the Thunder Bay CEDC and Northern Policy Institute.

Charla Robinson, President of the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce, says “In our role as business advocates we want to help the government develop supports that make sense for our region’s specific needs. To be effective, we need businesses of all sizes to tell us what those needs are as they are evolving.”
