The head of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce feels local chambers are still healthy and important.
Rocco Rossi has completed a tour of northwestern Ontario, including a visit to Thunder Bay.
He admits there are some challenges with membership, but overall the organization as a whole is strong.
Rossi says they still represent over 60,000 businesses, almost a third of the Ontario economy in terms of jobs.
He stresses that’s a force to be reckoned with.
Rossi says ensuring their members’ concerns are heard will be the focus heading into the upcoming provincial election. (File Photo)
