Cats Complete First Year Under New Ownership

The Thunder Bay Border Cats have completed their first baseball season under the new local ownership.

CEO Tony DiPaolo tells us the group of 22 investors appears to be happy with how it came together.

He admits “once the team was saved it was a rush to get everything up and running,” but adds it turned out to be “a very successful season.”

The Border Cats CEO says average attendance was just over 800 fans a game, which he says was comparable to last year.

DiPaolo is confident they can build on what they learned for next year.
