Catholic Board Shrinking

Enrolment at the Catholic School Board is shrinking. Over the last five years it’s gone down a combined six per cent for the system’s elementary and high schools.

However, Board spokesperson Sheila Chiodo says that doesn’t necessarily mean schools will need to close as a result.

Broken down, enrolment has decreased by 11 per cent at the two high schools and four per cent on the elementary side.
