Thunder Bay’s Catholic School Board is happy with their enrollment numbers for the school year.
They have six more students enrolled than last year at 7,851 students.
Superintendent of Business and Corporate Services Sheila Chiodo says they’re celebrating having their numbers stable after several years of declining enrollment.
She adds the last two years saw higher enrollment figures than the year before.
Now that that figure is steady, Chiodo says it’s much easier to plan staffing and programming for the school year.
