Paul Pepe explains the web portal had its beginnings after many Americans started phoning the city and asking about legalization.
It has questions and answers about what American visitors need to know if they wish to come to the city and use cannabis.
Pepe says they realized early on they could use legalization to the city’s advantage adding, it is estimated cannabis tourism could be worth $1.6 million a year to the local economy.
In addition, the tourism manager tells us tourism officials in other Canadian cities have called him to inquire about how well the web page has been received.
