It appears the Fort William Business Improvement Area may be at a crossroads.
Vice-Chair Shelby Ch’ng tells us it’s because there weren’t enough members at this weeks Annual General Meeting and so the board’s finance’s were not approved.
Ch’ng says the money can help to keep programs running which help small businesses in the area.
But she explains it’s hard to keep it afloat when people don’t show up.
Ch’ng adds the board will be attempting to find a way around the problem by changing the constitution to lower the threshold for having a quorum.
