Arrest made in County Fair Mall homicide

Thunder Bay Police Service (TBPS) announced on Wednesday that they have identified and arrested a suspect in relation to the homicide at 1010 Dawson Road on September 30

The accused has been charged with second-degree murder. He appeared in court on October 11th and is in custody.

The investigation was conducted by the city’s Major Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Unit.

Police responded to a 911 call reporting an injured male on the evening of September 30 in the area around the Landmark Hotel.

The male, 35-year-old Justin Coaster, was taken to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, where he was pronounced dead.
