It turned out to be a two for one special when it came to arrests.
A man entered Barb’s Laundromat on Victoria Ave E Sunday April 24 before 5pm. The suspect was wearing a hood and a mask and approached the clerk and demanded cash while allegedly brandishing a knife.
The man fled on foot with his loot.
Thunder Bay Police were called to the business shortly after.
Officers were able to identify the suspect quickly and went to a home on Norah Street.
When officers arrived to the home, they found the suspect in the armed robbery, but subsequently also found two other individuals who were suspicious.
While conducting a secondary investigation, officers found cocaine, cash and other drug dealing tools.
The two suspects were arrested; one 20 year old woman from Pickering and a 17 year old male.
A 33 year old local man was arrested for the armed robbery.
