The provincial and federal governments want to drive road development in the Ring of Fire region with new funding.
Greg Rickford, Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources and FedNor, and Mines Minister Michael Gravelle say each government is investing over $300,000.
The money will enable Webequie First Nation to complete a study that’ll look at the benefits of building all-season roads for resource development in Ontario’s northwest.
