Thunder Bay could soon host up to 20 Syrian families in as little as two weeks time but the some local naysayers aren’t keeping silence.
Council approved the initiative on Monday night and are still awaiting word on funding from the Federal Government. Mayor Keith Hobbs says he’s received only a few negative calls and messages on social media and says he has a simple response to them, “go to hell.”
