Another Day Reporting Under 400 Cases In Ontario

The latest provincial COVID-19 report marks 14 consecutive days without a case count hitting 500.

On Sunday Ontario is recording 370 new cases of the virus, 247 coming from people who are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccine status. Of the new infections, 123 are in people who have both their doses.

In terms of vaccines 87.9 per cent of Ontarians have at least one dose while 83.8 per cent are fully vaccinated.

Ontario is still rolling out vaccine QR codes to make proving you are double-vaxed simpler, the link to the portal is here.

Locally, Thunder Bay currently has eight active cases in the region after reporting 6 new ones on Friday.

This comes as Health Canada is reviewing the safety of the Pfizer vaccine for those aged 5-11.
