Airport Steps Up Cleaning Amid COVID-19 Concerns

Thunder Bay’s Airport is keeping an eye on the COVID-19 pandemic.

They say they are actively speaking with all stakeholders about the virus and how it is impacting air travel.

Officials go on to say as airlines assess the impacts on their respective businesses, it is possible that some services may be impacted.

The airport has increased the number of hand sanitizers throughout the Air Terminal Building.

Cleaning frequencies have also been increased throughout public areas and awareness posters have been provided to remind travellers of recommended practices from the World Health Organization.
