The city’s McIntyre Ward Councillor is going to talk to the Integrity Commissioner to make sure he’s following the city’s ethics rules.
Albert Aiello has been accused a few times of breaching the city’s code of conduct around his role as the head of the Boys and Girls Club.
Commissioner Jeff Abrams says he’s not concerned with everyday interactions like booking city facilities, only ones that involve “negotiations or things that require change in service levels.”
City Council also confirmed last night that the McIntyre Ward Councillor got sufficient training in August on how to avoid conflicts of interest.
