Additional Charges Laid In Hammarskjold Threat Case

City police are laying additional charges against one of the two accused in a case involving numerous threats made to Hammarskjold High School and others this past year.

Police say the threats made to area high schools mostly ranged from planned shootings to possible explosives.

The threats caused the schools to be either placed under a hold and secure protocol or in some cases a school closure.

The 18-year-old woman who was already charged in this matter now faces new charges including three additional counts of public mischief reporting offence and three new counts of mischief interference with the lawful use of property.

The matter will be back before the court on Monday, October 7th.
