With sadness and grief, the family of Karen Elizabeth Sarrasin, report the passing of a remarkable wife, Mom, Oma, and great grandmother, on Thursday April 16th, 2026 after a short and courageous battle with cancer.
Karen’s husband, Norman, children Krista-Lynne, Darrell (Diane), and Geoffrey (Jenn), grandchildren Aurora (Joshua), Julia, Carson, Ryan, Jayden, Allie, Ulannah, Vaylee-Rayne, and great grandchild Sawyer, mourn the passing of this remarkable human being.
Predeceased by her parents, Bill and Joan Baker, and sister Patricia, they take Karen into their arms. Karen, 75 yrs young, is now at rest.
Karen’s only brother, Bill Baker (Mary Anne), as well as all her in-laws, nieces and nephews, and cousins, remember her with their own memories.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment service will be at Nipigon Cliffside Cemetery on Saturday July 4th, 2026, 11AM. A celebration of life is planned for Saturday July 4th, 2026 at 12 noon at the Nipigon Legion.
