Thunder Bay on winter storm watch

A sizeable dump of snow is coming to the city on Tuesday night.

Environment Canada has placed Thunder Bay under a yellow-level winter storm watch, with 10-20 cm of snow expected.

The agency warns of wind speeds of up to 60 km/h.

Travellers are encouraged to exercise caution, as there is a possibility of low visibility and other road hazards, as well as closures.

The storm could continue until Wednesday night.
