A great start to young love!

This story is from Connecticut.  This one is all about kindness. Two high‑school seniors, Lilian and Evan, were out celebrating their four‑month anniversary. But instead of dinner and a movie, they decided to do something a little different. They bought flowers and handwritten note cards… not for each other, but for people going through tough times.

They went to Hartford Hospital and quietly placed those flowers and encouraging notes on the windshields of cars in the parking lot. Simple messages like “one step at a time,” “you’ll get through this,” and “get better.”

When the local NBC station asked why they did it, their answer was beautifully simple: “We just wanted to inspire other people.” Evan’s mom is a nurse, so he knows firsthand how heavy some days can be—and he and Lilian wanted to lift a little of that weight.

Not a bad way to spend a four‑month anniversary. In fact, that’s a pretty great start to young love
