Suspended tow truck driver taken off the street

A 44-year-old Thunder Bay man faces a number of charges after police pulled over the tow truck he was operating.

This past Saturday afternoon, the vehicle was stopped because Thunder Bay Police believed it was being driven by a person who had a suspended license.

He has been charged with driving while suspended, operating a commercial vehicle with no valid license and several other charges related to being a tow operator.

He also had the tow truck impounded for seven days.
