Mrs. Angelina Gollino (née Nappi) age 86 years, passed away peacefully in St. Joseph’s Hospice on Sunday, September 28, 2025 with her family by her side.
Angelina was born on November 3, 1938 in Comiziano, Naples, Italy and she immigrated to Canada in 1957. On July 27, 1963, she married the love of her life, Vittorio Gollino, and they started their family, building a wonderful life and spending over 51 years together. Angelina’s main focus was her family, and she dedicated her life to taking care of them. Time spent together always brought her the greatest joy. She also had a love for gardening. Angelina will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Angelina is survived by her son Bruno (Maria) and granddaughter Juliann; sister Michelina and brother Joe. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive both in Canada and Italy.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Vittorio; her parents Carmine and Filomena Nappi and other relatives.
Funeral Services for the late Mrs. Angelina Gollino will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 12:10pm in St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church celebrated by Father James Panikulam. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening after 6:00PM in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James with Vigil Prayers offered at 7:00PM, led by Deacon Pasquale Coccimiglio.
