A 17 year old male youth from Kakabeka Falls has been identified as the person killed in a collision on Highway 11/17 in Thunder Bay.
The crash took place around 6:43 Monday morning at the intersection of Mapleward Road between a motorcycle and a vehicle.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported to hospital, but was pronounced deceased.
As a result of the collision, that stretch of road was closed for about 7 hours, but finally reopened around 2:00 in the afternoon.
The OPP says the investigation is ongoing.
