Three Thunder Bay residents facing second degree murder charge

Three Thunder Bay residents are facing a second-degree murder charge following an investigation into a death in Thunder Bay.

Officers with Thunder Bay’s city police were sent to Pearl Street on Saturday in response to a report of a weapon.

When they arrived, they found an injured man.

The man was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

An investigation led to three suspects being identified.

The suspects were located and arrested late Saturday around midnight.

No information was provided on whether the suspects were apprehended together or individually.

As a result, a 20-year-old, a 22-year-old, and a 45-year-old have been charged with second-degree murder.

The 22-year-old has also been charged with breach of probation and breach of firearms probation.

The accused remains in custody, with future court dates.
