Hazelwood Drive is going to be temporarily closed roughly 300 metres south of Melbourne Road.
The work is getting underway on Wednesday morning around 8:00 a.m.
The cause of the closure is an emergency culvert repair.
“Local traffic will be permitted up to the closure point, but through traffic is advised to seek alternate routes during this time,” said the city in a release. “The City of Thunder Bay would like to thank you for your patience and cooperation as crews work to address the issue promptly and safely.”
No information was provided as to when the work will be completed.
