Some infrastructure and roadwork is set to take place in the McIntyre area.
Closures for the work are starting on Monday.
The closures are occurring in three phases.
Phase 1:
- Algoma Street (North & South) – from Van Horne Street to Angus Street
- McIntyre Street closed at Court Street – (Local traffic still permitted)
- McIntyre Street closed at Ruttan Street
Phase 2:
- McIntyre Street at Algoma Street
- McIntyre Street at Ruttan Street
Phase 3:
- McIntyre Street at Algoma Street and Farrand Street
- Ruttan Street at Van Horne Street and Angus Street
- Shuniah Street at Meek Street
Detour routes will be clearly marked, and signage will be in place to help guide traffic around the construction.
The city is advising motorists to allow extra travel time and to use alternate routes where possible.
