Cyclist injured on Trowbridge trails helped to safety by Fire Rescue

Quick action by Thunder Bay Fire Rescue helped get a cyclist stuck on the Trowbridge Trails to safety.

On Tuesday evening around 7:00 p.m., fire rescue received reports of an injured cyclist on the trails.

They deployed a Utility Task Vehicle off Copenhagen Road and were able to locate the cyclist.

The individual was transported to paramedics who were waiting on scene for treatment.

“We continue to emphasize the importance of safety equipment, and exercise caution while enjoying the recreational activities in and around Thunder Bay,” said Fire Rescue in a release.
