“Sorry officer, I didn’t know I was going that fast”? WHAT?

Stories pop up everyday about motorists speeding on city streets / highways.

Did you hear the latest? A driver in the Burlington area was caught doing 200km/h, twice the speed limit. The crazy part of this story is the driver allegedly claimed “I didn’t know I was going that fast”? HUH???

License suspended for 30 days, vehicle impounded for two weeks, and charged with stunt driving. Could you imagine the insurance rate adjustment for this driver. Yikes!
