Thunder Bay Police got a call about animal cruelty happening in the Intercity area on Monday evening.
When police arrived to the a footpath near Waterford St, officers searched the area and located the body of a dead goose and three males nearby.
One person, a 23 year man from Thunder Bay was arrested and have been charged with animal cruelty as well as breaching probation.
He has since been released with conditions and a future appearance date.
