SLFNHA Expanding Into Thunder Bay

A healthcare satellite office for Thunder Bay.

The Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority (SLFNHA) held a ceremony Thursday from its new location at 981 Balmoral Street, Suite 200.

The SLFNHA serves more than 40,000 people, both on and off-reserve of 33 First Nations.

Since April 2021, there have been nearly 5,100 visits by SLFNHA community members to Thunder Bay for medical appointments, including almost 800 in November alone.

The current offices in Sioux Lookout also remain fully operational.
