The Bill Salonen Cup will be contested for the first time in three years.
The best-of-five quarter-finals begin Tuesday night at the Fort William Gardens and the Dryden Memorial Arena as the North Stars meet the Wisconsin Lumberjacks and the Ice Dogs get the Fort Frances Lakers in round one.
The Kam River Fighting Walleye will get the lower-seeded team in the best-of-seven semifinals while the Red Lake Miners will square off against the other quarter-final series winner.
