Program Aimed At Helping Crime Victims Gets More Provincial Cash

More money coming down from the provincial government.

This time two million dollars is being put into the Victim Crisis Assistance Ontario annually.

Victims of crime, their families and witnesses will have access to supports and services when they are in need. There are 46 organizations across Ontario that will be able to utilize this funding.

The Victim Crisis Assistance Ontario program gives crisis intervention services to victims of crime and tragic circumstances 24-7.

The program also makes safety planning available for eligible victims of crime, and customized supports and referrals for community agencies.

Details on other victims response programs can be found here.

Also available is the Victim Services Directory, found here, which provides online information about services for victims of crime.
