Returning to game action for Ontario University Athletics (OUA).

In response to the province’s announcement Thursday, the association unveiled Friday that training for athletes can begin on Monday, January 31st with league-based regular season schedules picking up on Wednesday, February 9th with the originally scheduled slate of games for that date.

Also in the statement, the OUA promised further details on the return of competition next week including championship dates.

University athletics paused competition on December 17th and were unable to continue their season after the province implemented a return to a modified version of the Roadmap to Reopen on January 5th.
