A local beer celebration is back with a new location for 2021.
The BrewHa! Craft Beer Festival is happening September 24th and 25th, and has reinvented itself as a street festival.
Organizers say they will block off Cumberland Street between Van Norman Street and Red River Road for the event, which will also feature local food and live music.
“The response to the return of BrewHa! Craft Beer Festival has been overwhelmingly positive,” says festival chair Darren McChristie. “We are excited to take this year’s event to the streets of the Waterfront BIA and provide an exciting opportunity for people to get together safely and enjoy tasty craft beer, delicious local food, and homegrown live music in a new, unique location.”
A portion of the ticket sales will go to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
Tickets are $30 and can be bought online only.
The event is usually held at Prince Arthur’s Landing, but was cancelled in 2020. Organizers say next year’s event will return to Marina Park.
