Chantelle Bryson is looking forward to meeting constituents in the riding of Thunder Bay-Superior North.
The NDP candidate will kick off her campaign with a meet and greet at Hillcrest Park this coming Thursday, August 19th, between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
“We welcome anyone who wants to meet me or the team and talk about NDP policies to come by and say hello,” says Bryson. “This is a family friendly and senior friendly environment where people do not have to fear the risk of infection that they would at an indoor event.”
Bryson questioned whether this was the best time to call an election.
“I think the timing of this election along with its complete lack of necessity and price tag of $600-million is completely irresponsible and dangerous,” explains Bryson. “Delta is on the rise, and speaking with parents and seniors everywhere, they are near hysterical about sending their children back to school, the last thing they want is people arriving at their door.”
One of the main focuses of Bryson’s campaign looks at investing heavily in public and green infrastructure, as well as transitioning to a green economy.
