Paramedics Heralded For Quick Action

A pair of Superior North EMS (SNEMS) paramedics prevented serious injuries in an assault.

The crew was pulling up to the Westfort Paramedic Station at about 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, when they observed what appeared to be a possible robbery and assault in progress of an older man by three younger men.

The paramedics called police, and got out of their vehicle, while the suspects fled the scene.

The victim was treated by the paramedics for minor injuries and declined going to the hospital.
