Officials report eighteen new diagnoses Friday, which includes seventeen that were obtained from someone else who had the virus.

There was also one more case that could be one of the COVID-19 variants.

The active case count is up to 33.

Inside the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, four of the thirteen patients that are being treated for the virus are in the Intensive Care Unit.

In Ontario 1,273 new cases were confirmed along with 14 deaths.
