TBSO Virtual Tour

24 communities in the region will have the chance to hear the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra (TBSO) as they embark on their Virtual Tour.

Each concert will feature a local touch, with guest artists from the area such as Cassandra Star from Fort Frances and Meritt Penner from Sioux Lookout.

Executive Director and General Manager Ryleigh Dupuis says they’ve missed the opportunity to play live, but are excited to be able to perform for so many communities.

“So we thought how can we bring music back to Kenora, Fort Frances, Dryden, all these places, and this is what we came up with.”

The tour will see 19 concerts streamed between May 25th and June 14th.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
