5 Variants Confirmed

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is recording four new cases of COVID-19 and seven resolved, the active count now 25.

Two of the confirmed cases were from close contact, while the other two were from travel outside of the region.

While we are seeing the active case count continue to drop, the region also identified five cases associated with a variant of concern on Saturday.

This announcement comes as youth aged 12 and older can book their vaccine appointments starting Sunday at 8 a.m.

The province is reporting 1,794 cases from 34,600 tests.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
