CDC Eases Restrictions For Fully Vaccinated Americans

A reduction in the restrictions for those who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) made the move Thursday to ease indoor mask-wearing guidance and social distancing rules for the approximately 117 Americans who have received both doses of the vaccine.

The CDC still suggests wearing a face covering in crowded indoor settings such as homeless shelters, hospitals, prisons, hospitals, planes and buses.

The other change involves permission to go outdoors in crowds without a mask.

Along with the 117 million Americans who have been fully vaccinated against COVID, roughly 154 million more have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
