War Amps Mark 75 Years Of Key Tags

The War Amps of Canada say you should start to see key tags in the mail very soon if they haven’t arrived already.

Spokesperson James Jordan says this is their 75th year offering the free service.

“It allows us to provide very, very important programs and services to amputees across the country,” he notes.

He points out northern Ontario is the last area they have to cover.

He estimates they mail back 13,000 to 15,000 keys each year, but car and house keys aren’t all they return.

“You can really put them on anything. We’ve returned not only keys, we’ve returned flash drives, sometimes cellphones, and I think the best story we have is I think we returned a wedding ring,” Jordan admits.
