North Star Air is celebrating sharing over $5-million with its partner communities.
The airline has an agreement with eleven First Nations to share some of its profits.
Those include Webequie First Nation, where Chief Cornelius Wabasse says it’s providing much-needed help.
The money redirected back into those communities is used for investments in social, economic and infrastructure projects.
